Sometimes Making a Difference Starts With Saying, “Yes, I’ll Go.”
When disaster hits, people don’t just need supplies—they need someone willing to show up, get dirty, and help them begin putting life back together. Over the next few Saturdays, World Compassion Network will be taking volunteer teams to Muncie, Indiana, to help families recovering from devastating flooding and storm damage.
Volunteers will be doing muck-out work—removing mud, debris, furniture, and damaged belongings from homes so families can begin the process of repairing and rebuilding. It’s dirty work. It’s hard work. But it’s also an opportunity to stand beside someone during a difficult time and remind them that they are not alone.
That’s what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
